The best course of action presently is to acquire a few remote acres accessible only by a long, inconspicuous driveway, as many miles as possible from the nearest town and located against a densely forested mountain range. If They come for you—when they come for you—a fighting retreat is the second best way to go; slipping away silently into the night dark forest is the optimal way to go. Perhaps after some time has passed and small resistance groups have linked up in the mountains a chance for fighting back might present itself. I don't think it's a question of necessity. (though one can argue the point that without the out-of-control tax system the equally out-of-control monetary system itself would collapse.)

Nope. It's more of a brazen exclamation or reminder to the electorate that the tax laws are backed by the threat of government violence. Of course, that reminder is premised on the presupposition that government is the owner of all property. That government owns you, owns 100% of your income, all of the fruits of your labor and that it alone controls the terms for which you may keep a certain percentage.
