I'm here because US politics interest me. far more than any other country's, and Americans tend to be far more open minded and wide-ranging in their opinions (try arguing against health care in Canada... it's like arguing against the hijab in Iran!! well maybe not quite, but still)

I'm also 28, a laid off accountant (yay economy), and have BA in poli sci... I like romantic walks on the beach and puppies... is that enough? cool
