Iran to sign deal

Trump is mocked around the world and his declarations of victory are just ignored
Agreed. His declarations are as valid as his most recent health report.

Trump is desperate to cut and run from his fiasco, and Iran knows it can make him squirm.

...“What Iran is counting on is that, as this process drags out — as all the key issues are kicked down the road — that our forces will begin to melt away, and that they will be able to sell oil, to replenish their assets, rebuild their military program, and take away the biggest threat to the regime that we have, which is the economic threat,” he said.
Bolton said he thinks the chances of Trump following through on threats to resume the use of force in the region will “diminish the closer we get to the elections” — and that Iran likely understands that dynamic.
“They think we’ve got a short attention span, we’re obsessed by the elections,” Bolton said.
Agreed. I think Iran is trying to stretch this out as long as possible to see how far they can bend Donnie over a barrel and have their way with him.

Anything less than unconditional surrender is a win for Iran and a loss for Pedo Don.

If Iran keeps their nukes for one day longer than a signed peace treaty, it's a win for Iran and a loss for Pedo Don.

In 2015, Iran reached an agreement with the European Union and six major powers – China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom, the US, and Germany - under which international economic sanctions would be rolled back. Iran committed to limiting activities that could be used to produce a nuclear weapon.
Despite the IAEA saying Iran had complied with the agreement up to that point, Trump killed the deal when he withdrew the U.S. from the deal in 2018.
If Trump is now insisting that Iran open the Gulf of Hormuz and agree not to develop a nuclear weapon, that was the situation before February 28, before his sneak attack.
The JCPOA had a 10-year time limit, plus Iran was cheating on it anyway. The JCPOA was worthless.

On top of that Obama gave Iran $56,000,000,000 to use to develop nuclear weapons and ICBMs.

Then U.S. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew told Congress in July 2015 that Iran gained access to $56 billion via the agreement, a fact check by PolitiFact in 2018 noted.

Just checking in… is it signed. LOL

/—-/ None of that is true. If you take off the blinders you’d see Iranians celebrating in the streets and thanking President Trump.
You can lie, twist and distort all you want but you can’t change the truth.
Its notable that you're not posting pictures of of these celebrations.

They do not have either. Not fueled, not built. Not tested. They do not exist. One possible project not even started, preferring shorter range rockets. The other program was Quote "obliterated" by Trump last years, and according to his own Secretary of state and his own Director of National intelligence, program not restarted and no further nuclear material enriched. This was a war of choice, without consideration of outcome, by our moron President, at the behest of Israel, and not in American interests, as America not threatened, even by the reach of their missiles, that could not possibly reach here. Don't be such a trembling wimp. We were not in danger and still aren't, except economically, due to trump's war of choice.
Also at the behest of Saudi Arabia.

Agreed on Iran's lack of both nukes and ICBM's. The limitations of their missile tech was displayed by their attack on Diego Garcia.

The real threat from Iran is their funding of terrorist proxies around the region and their drone industry. Their ability to close the Strait of Hormuz with a few drones is their most powerful negotiation tool. I doubt they'll give it up without concessions from Trump.

Q: What are the implications for the USA and its allies if missiles did indeed reach near to Diego Garcia from Iran?

MS: When it comes to military implications, not much. One missile reportedly failed in flight while the other was shot down, suggesting that they are prone to problems and also that they can be dealt with by active air-defence systems. Also, the Diego Garcia base is a strip of atoll 1 km across at its widest point. Hitting such a small target with ballistic missiles like the Khorramshahr has proved difficult in the past, especially at such a distance. These are not advanced intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) with complex post-boost vehicles. Also, a direct hit from the kind of very light warhead that the Khorramshahr could carry such a distance would damage a building with a direct hit, but would not have much effect if, for example, it hit an airfield.

USS Princeton was a Ticonderoga-class cruiser in the Gulf.

USS Samuel B. Roberts was a Perry-class frigate. My former son-in-law later served on that ship.

I was incorrect. It was the USS Tripoli. Wrong LPH. My mistake. :( The Iwo Jima has a fatal engineering casualty.

All were struck by Iranian mines in the actions against Iran.
The Tripoli was struck by an IRAQI mine during the Gulf War.

So was the USS Princeton

The Roberts was struck by an Iranian Mine, so you got 1 out of 3.

The problem here is that these were during active Combat Operations. Trump isn't even making that effort, because he knows if a US ship hits a mine, in a war that he started for no good reason, it will just look bad for him.

But at least we can rest assured a final determination has been made.

Finally.

Reminds us of Bushes claims of WMDs in Iraq to justify his invasion
Agreed.
Donnie isn't the brightest bulb in the cabinet meeting no matter how many sychophants kiss his fat diapered ass. As such he never has any original ideas. Replaying Bush's WMD excuse to justify war is just one of them.

American lives have been both lost and irrepably harmed along with billions of American tax dollars simply so that Trump can "negotiate" us back to square one and the original deal Obama had made in concert with other nations about Iran's nuclear program.

It is in the GOP Playbook

If you want to start a war, just claim they have WMDs with no proof

His health is Perfect
The purple hands and cankles are normal for 80 year old geezers. LOL

How soon before he brags about aceing the MoCA again?

Person, Woman, Man, Camera, TV

Your long-debunked, hyper-partisan lies are far too blatant to work as a much-needed diversion.

"Obama gave Iran $56,000,000,000 to use to develop nuclear weapons and ICBMs."

What's True
The Obama administration approved a $1.7 billion payment to Iran in 2016 and U.S. officials later acknowledged the transfer was made entirely in non-U.S. cash because sanctions had cut Iran off from the normal dollar-based financial system. Reporting at the time described an initial $400 million tranche arriving on pallets of foreign currency the same day Iran released American prisoners.

What's False
The money was not a gift, donation or discretionary giveaway from Obama to Iran. It represented a settlement of a decades-old legal dispute over $400 million Iran had paid the U.S., before the 1979 Iranian Revolution, for military equipment it never received, plus about $1.3 billion in interest. Social media posts that frame the transfer simply as Obama "giving" Iran money omit that context.

/----/ It's funny how I posted historical facts backed up with a source and events I recall from when I was 30 years old, and these two hound dogs marked it fake news with zero proof.
Hey libtards, just because you don't like the facts doesn't make it fake news.
