Agreed on Iran's lack of both nukes and ICBM's. The limitations of their missile tech was displayed by their attack on Diego Garcia.

USS Samuel B. Roberts was a Perry-class frigate. My former son-in-law later served on that ship.

I was incorrect. It was the USS Tripoli. Wrong LPH. My mistake. The Iwo Jima has a fatal engineering casualty.

All were struck by Iranian mines in the actions against Iran.

The Tripoli was struck by an IRAQI mine during the Gulf War.

Reporting at the time described an initial $400 million tranche arriving on pallets of foreign currency the same day Iran released American prisoners.

The money was not a gift, donation or discretionary giveaway from Obama to Iran.
