At least at one time, there actually was a Philistine state. There is no state of Palestine.

There are people who consider themselves as Palestinians, and they do want their land back. Given the discriminative, abusive and even genocidal nature of State of Israel (at least it's current regime) this desire is quite understandable.

There is one small fact not mentioned much in the media which may help make this blockade work beyond mere loss of income:

While Iran is chock full of crude oil, they have no actual refineries in the country for refining it into the various petroleum fractions like gasoline, diesel, etc., and so, actually get their gas from outside imported into the country.

With this blockade in place, Iran is running out of gas to run their cars, trucks, jeeps, and any other vehicle they have that runs on gas.

Pipelines cannot supplant the flow that usually goes out of the Gulf.

All that leaves is a railway out of the country to try to transport supplies in and out and all we need to do is blow up one bridge and that too is kaput.

Worse, if they cannot ship their export crude oil out of the country because of this blockade, their storage tanks fill up. Once they fill up, they have to shut down the wells.

Once they shut down their wells from pumping any more oil, they are a real ***** to get started up again.

Fool, the Jews have been there for 2000 years. First it was the Land of Judea I believe where the Israelites lived, then it became Israel. Here is a map of Israel from 1890, but I've seen far older maps.

You can see even then the Gaza region was delineated as the area of the Philistines, who themselves are historically from an unknown region generally called sea people which they believe came in from the direction of Crete. STill, there ARE refineries in Iran. Since we ourselves have issues from time to time maintaining the capacity we need, I expect Iran has the same issue during peace time. Add in bombs dropping out of the sky, and refineries definitely become inoperable, or unsafe to operate. We don't know if their refineries have been bombed, but it is probably safe to assume that they have.
