If over the last two weeks Iran had been killing civilians at the rate Israel did during the recent war with Hamas, around 475 Iranian civilians should be dead right now, just over two weeks into the conflict.
Instead, CBS is reporting 12,000 civilian deaths (with one source going as high as 20,000).
In the Israel-Hamas War, it took Israel just under 13 months to reach that civilian death toll (or 5 months, if you believe Hamas' figures, which I do not). And again, it took Iran just two weeks.
So why all the silence? Where are the college protesters that we saw the instant Israel defended itself?
At least a handful of them would admit that, of the Palestinians killed, a few were militants, if not outright terrorists. In Iran, however, none of those killed have been militants. They’re all civilians being mowed down by machine guns.
So why the apathy? Here are a few quick reasons, which all turn out to be related.
First, the modern left hates Israel (despite it being seriously left-leaning socially) because the modern left hates Westernism and human flourishing, and Israel is the embodiment of both of those things in the Middle East.
Second, there are no Jews doing any of the killing. The left is wildly anti-Semitic, going all the way back to Marx. Remember his essay on "The Jewish Question"? And what about Marx's infamous comment about Jewish German philosopher Ferdinand Lassalle, where Marx appropriated and then fused the n-word ever so gently with the word "Jewish"? Anti-Semitism is embedded in leftism's DNA.
Third, and relatedly, leftism is a sort of policy worldview built on envy, resentment, anger, and hate.
Fourth, the Iranians are fighting against Islam, and the Red/Green Alliance doesn’t like that one bit, no sir. By the way, do you know why the Reds actually tolerate Greens? Because Greens (Islam) also hate Westernism and human flourishing.
Fifth, and definitively, the envy, resentment, anger, and hate that underpin leftism are the emotional manifestations of the spirit of Satan himself. I tend to call it the Spirit of Antichrist; Jordan Peterson would call it the Spirit of Cain.

The silence on American campuses regarding what's happening in Iran right now proves beyond a doubt that the "Pro-Palestinian Protests" were never about saving lives. They were only ever about churning up hatred against Jews.

Commentary:
Where are the "professional" agitators speaking out against the slaughter of the Iranian people? Where are all those supposed university students protesting the atrocities and murders of Iranians/ Don't their lives matter?
Then again the Biased media is comparing apples to oranges. Israel and Hamas a proxy of Iran are at war. Iranians are being killed by their own government.
Neither situation calls for US military intervention though.
A crucial distinction is that Israel targeted Jihadi terrorist murderers who were deliberately placing others in harm’s way (collateral damage), whereas Iran targeted (and continues to target) legitimate protestors who aim to bring down a jihadi terrorist regime.
We all know the answer. It’s the same reason black people can slaughter each other in Chicago Minneapolis, or Baltimore. But if a white guy kills a black guy the outrage machine instantly gets jacked up to 11.
Then there's another side to the story. Is it because progressives and DSA Commies on the left are mentally ill? They live in a world of denial of reality where they believe and discount as they see fit while their beliefs are as solid as marshmallows. you see this same old double standard of thinking, a sick aspect of them.
Meanwhile, they've condoned Hamas crossing into Israel raping, killing and taking hostage out women and children was defensive, Israel attacking into Gaza was genocidal, and Iran defending their regime by killing their own in their view justified as it's anti-Trump.

All wrong. Your nation Israel has murdered far more civilians than Iran.

I'm not in favor of the USA going to war with Iran, but I am in favor of the USA supporting the forces opposing the Islamic theocracy with intelligence, money and weapons as necessary. Iran has been at war with the USA since the fall of the Shah, the USA has just never acknowledged that fact or strongly acted upon it. No one knows the exact figure, some say 2,000, others say 20,000, bottom line is that all of the usual suspects on the Left are again silent. Why? They are obviously not motivated by humanitarian reasons (as they claim).

So why all the crickets? Could it be because half the democrats in Washington are Iranian, muslim, or bought out by the Muzzie Brotherhood?

Or because Iran is Trump's direct antigen? The enemy of my enemy is my friend--- similarly, to side against Iran, which is against Trump (they just threatened his life) would be akin to siding with Trump!
