'Invisibility cloak' that could hide tanks and troops looks closer to reality
Why wasn't this given a larger share of media attention? Think about all the things you could do with invisibility cloaking. What this could mean to warfare. Talk about ultra lockdown. This sort of thing wouldn't work against heat sensing or motion sensing tech, but even with those disadvantages a cloak like this could really do some damage most especially because nobody would be expecting invisible enemies. This article is 5 months old. I wonder how much better this technology is now.

Harry Potter’s "invisibility cloak" appears closer to reality as Canadian camouflage manufacturer Hyperstealth Biotechnology has applied for patents on its "Quantum Stealth" material.
