"Analysts concluded it could be a cataclysmic event," a source says.
As far back as late November, U.S. intelligence officials were warning that a contagion was sweeping through China’s Wuhan region, changing the patterns of life and business and posing a threat to the population, according to four sources briefed on the secret reporting.

One problem: the story is false.

"As a matter of practice the National Center for Medical Intelligence does not comment publicly on specific intelligence matters. However, in the interest of transparency during this current public health crisis, we can confirm that media reporting about the existence/release of a National Center for Medical Intelligence Coronavirus-related product/assessment in November of 2019 is not correct. No such NCMI product exists," the statement said."

‘NO SUCH PRODUCT' EXISTS: The ABC News report, which alleged that 2019 intelligence depicted an “American government that could have ramped up mitigation and containment efforts far earlier to prepare for a crisis poised to come home,” sent Pentagon officials scrambling to find the report in question."
“NCMI and the Defense Intelligence Agency spent considerable time over the last 24 hours examining every possible product that could have been identified as related to this topic and have found no such product,” said a defense official last night.

Now, why would ABC run a story like this w/o confirmation?
Why would ABC bury the information that disproves the story at the bottom, rather than drawing attention at the top?
Why would ABC not simply pull the story?

I'll go with:
- ABC wants Trump to lose
- ABC knows their throngs of useful idiots will grab this and repeat this all over the internet, either oblivious to the fact it is false, or not caring.

There's no bias in the media.

The media got something wrong.
