I'd laugh if it were no so sad for so many.
Reagan inherited the permanent reality of us going from a creditor nation to a debtor nation. Progs at that time could have helped to corral the Great Society legislation with no rules as it grew exponentially. With the fiat currency we have we are told only having 2% inflation a year is good. Look at the prices of certain ways like housing from an out-of-control fiat currency.
