Inflation started jumping in March. It rose a full point to 3.3%.

Key Points
The consumer price index rose 3.3% year over year in March 2026, up from 2.4% in February, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The Iran war has caused oil prices to spike — raising prices for gasoline and airfare, and leading to higher prices for food and e-commerce purchases.
It may take weeks or months for conditions to normalize, even if there is a quick resolution to the Middle East conflict.

The transportation increases haven’t even made it into products yet. Amazon and USPS still to come. 8% might be a fond memory at the rate it grew in one month.

Still about 5% less than Biden. Long way to go there.

You mean the month COVID hit?
Whoa?!? You mean covid impacted employment, inflation, and GDP? Or just employment and GDP? Or just the numbers you want to wave off but no the one’s you don’t?

What a shame Democrats shut down the government for over a year and made it far worse than it needed to be. As usual, the event itself was overshadowed by the left's bonehead reaction to it. Witness the Great Depression which was made far worse than it should have been by FDR's Communist policies.

So no thoughts on which metrics were impacted by covid and which one’s were not? So now you jump to forgetting that all the shutdowns occurred under Trump?

Democrat governors of NY and CA shut down the government and for much much longer than needed. Their numbers comprised a large percentage of the US' numbers. That's on them. Leftwingers make everything worse.

California just passed Japan for the 4th largest economy in the world. New York is top 10 bigger than Canada and Russia. Youre crazy. Trump caused 15% unemployment and it took Biden to get us out of that. Inflation was solved by Biden just like Trumps unemployment was solve by Biden.

Heh. Biden had no idea where or who he was.

Well he solved Trump’s unemployment issue and inflation like a boss. Maybe we’d be better off if Trump was an invalid and playing with roboblox in a child’s playroom? We’d have 2M more jobs, lower prices, cheap gas, a growing economy, 15 alive soldiers, hundreds of alive school girls and a host of other better off outcomes.

Anyway, back to NOW. Energy prices are going to flow through painfully in the next two months.

We are raising our shipping costs under the cover of darkness the same day Amazon does. No one will notice our change with all that noise. Go Amazon!

A reminder, there is no ceasefire. Iran is very busy trashing all the Gulf States' petro industries.
