Indian tacos

Seriously craving, plan on making them for my fam when I take the kids to school next weekend:

Fry bread
refried beans
Taco meat
chopped tomatoes
chopped iceburg lettuce
chopped onions
shredded cheese
taco sauce/hot sauce
sour cream
avocado
olives

or any combination thereof...

Make fry bread
slap about a tbsp of refried beans on there
slap a good circle of beef on there
put the rest on
pig out

My fry bread usually has yeast. I grew up with both types...we called the type with baking powder "dodgers"...essentially fried biscuit bread.

Powdered milk is used in a lot of the recipes because powdered milk used to be distributed to the reservations by truckload. When you are making fry bread, it's usually when there isn't much else in the house, including milk, and the powdered milk makes the dough richer.

I've used both fresh milk and powdered milk (and water)
It's kind of about what you have on hand.

Yeast fry bread is awesome, I like it best but the kids actually prefer the baking powder variation.
