‘Independents’ and ‘moderates’…..what about Trump kept you from voting for and or supporting him?

But he didn't. And that's what you can't come to terms with. You can't deal with the fact that he hoodwinked you. He was just another "globalist" who sucked you and the rest of the lemmings into his lies.
There were those of us who knew this man was a fake. He has been for his entire adult life. A poser. An opportunist. You??..you saw a man who thought as you did. In the belief that your power would not be diluted.
Not be given over to those who didn't look like you and think like you. That he would prevent America from becoming the melting pot that the founding fathers envisioned. And that he'd stuff those "different" people
back into the closet they came from.

He played you. You got sold a bill of goods. And stuck with the check.
And you can't name ONE policy that actually came from his original brain thought...because he never had one.
Oh shove it. We know the economy was great with Trump and gas prices were lowest in decades. Interest rates were 0 to1 %. Now, gas prices have doubled and interest rates are 6%. People are suffering because of Biden's total ineptitude. There is a war, nuclear threat, rocket man has returned, the Chinese are cleaning our clock and Putin is laughing at US. America is already a melting pot and has been for a long time. What we have today is an invasion that our government is doing nothing to stop or even seriously look into. Biden is a clulsterfuck and always has been. Now, he's a clusterfuck, brain dead old fart who is single handed ruining this nation.

I'm an Indie. I DIDN'T - and I will NEVER - vote for Donald trump.

I liked his harsh rhetoric about illegal immigration. Though I don't know if he actually did anything to really stop the invasion by illegal aliens.

His "wall" is a joke. Wasted money, and falling apart of its own weight.

What I hate most about Trump is that he is a liar, a fraud, and a complete phony who will do, or say, anything to get what he wants. He cares about no one but himself. And that's putting it mildly.

What rise in lower end wages, Correll?? That started under OBAMA!

Trump was a steward. And all he had to do was NOT fuck it up..which he did the very moment his presidency was tested.
Why??..because he was incompetent.

You are a lemming. It's sad to see your devotion to this man.
You need to start providing links with your claims here. I dismiss your answers because you don't back them up.
You believe. That's it.

Incorrect. That was the status quo pattern of what had become accepted for "good times", ie every gained, but the lower end guys gained less, because, that was the way it was.

Under Trump the lower end people gained MORE, pre covid.

And regardless, as I said before, I predicted this behavior from you. YOur point was that Trump had no policies. Well, now you are arguing that you disagreed with his policies. That was not your point. Becuase your point was shit talk. All you really care about is spamming leftard propaganda.

From your link to back up my above claim.

  • Average weekly earnings for all workers were up 4.2 percent after inflation. The gain was 3.7 percent for just production and nonsupervisory employees.

Who the hell else is going to work on a farm during low unemployment? Besides, many of them are LEGAL H2-A migrant workers.

There were other times of low unemployement. BUt only under Trump, was there a shortage of cheap Third World labor.

Strong evidence of a more secure border, relatively speaking.

iF you were honest, you would admit that.

No one could have predicted how much damage he would cause, or how he would pervert one of America's major parties into what it has become.

But even worse than that, these last six years has exposed America as something far less than many of us thought we were. Up until the 2016 elections, I had never even considered the matter. I just assumed we were better than this, so this notion is new to me. Maybe that's the worst part.

I had to hold my nose and vote for the lousy Democratic Presidential nominee twice because I want to believe America is AT LEAST better than this.

There is no explaining this to his flock. It's a waste of time, and damn depressing.

Campaigner Trump bashed the economy day-in and day-out, until his first day in Office, then it suddenly became "The best economy ever!"

And the far rightwing USMB lemmings and sycophants followed-suit like trained seals.
Where did you go to grade school?

His "flock" are normal, healthy Americans, and the way that you people need to pretend otherwise, is you being assholes.

Except all those "economy on steroids"...started under Obama.

He built that! :auiqs.jpg:
They're not told that his "economy on steroids" was built with inherited growth and inherited plunging unemployment, crashed bond yields, TRILLIONS in inflationary stimulus spending, and MASSIVE inflationary deficit spending.

AND, amazingly, ignorantly, he BEGGED the Fed for MORE. He made Keynes roll over in his fucking grave. Right out in the open. And they're too ignorant to know it.

They don't know this because they choose not to know this.

Trump had no policies. He had no values. No ideas. No beliefs. His ideas came from other people. He gave generously to Democrat causes for years. Identified as liberal.

Everyone used to be a libtard. Even me.

Some have seen the light.

Others not so much.

Then, he saw an opening with the pliant lemmings on the right wing and he ran as a Republican in 2015...and struck once in a million gold.

lol

He beat out 16 other Republicans for the nomination. That doesn't sound like a lottery.

Please state for the class, what policies...did Trump talk up and believe in prior to stepping off the golden escalator??

Doesn't matter. Once you've seen the light you can never look at the world in the same way ever again

That was actually a play off Ronald Reagan's campaign slogans. Not an original.

America has always been first. Under Democrats. Under Republicans.
It was a nationalistic dog whistle.

Joe is a career politician. Successes....Failures. But a steady hand. Not a riffing, corrupt, incompetent a-hole who doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself.

Deal with it.
There is nothing steady about 2022 Joe Biden. Two years in and his Administration (puppet masters) continue to shit the bed economically to the point they are ready to cough up The Hill to the Republicans. Obama famously said of Biden, “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to fuck things up” which is ironic given that these are policies aligned with Obama.

Which of his policies turned you off? What would you have liked to have seen him do differently?
I ask because I have asked this here before and most refuse to participate…I wonder why?

People have answered your questions. You reject the answers. Any beliefs or ideals you don’t agree with are not valid in your mind.

This especially is a bad topic. Because if you admit that people have a reason for their beliefs, you will end up admitting that Trump lost. And that is something you can’t do.

So what?

The Democrats are the exact same way.

There's going to be a whole lot of them going to jail real soon.

Every single member of that idiotic J6 committee is going to be under the microscope for a good long while

Overeager politics is nothing new.

His track record of bankruptcy and incompetence in business, his overt racism, his LIES. But nothing overcomes his business record of failure and fiscal malfeasance.

"America First" was Trump's policy. Everything worked off that premise and worked well.

How's Dementia Joe working out for you?

"America First" isn't a "policy", it's a bumper sticker. At best it's a policy goal. For example, requiring all government purchases to be made from companies manufacturing in the USA, is a policy that put's "America First".

Which of Trump's policies put "America First"???? Certainly not his trading policies, all of which increased the America's trade deficit, and left the country worse off than before. In fact, every "problem" he focused his attentions on, got WORSE, not better.

Which of his policies turned you off? What would you have liked to have seen him do differently?

I consider myself a right leaning independent. I didn't vote for Trump in 2016. Didn't vote for Hillary either. I did vote for Trump in 2020 because I was afraid the rabid left would destroy our country with socialism, wokeness, and political correctness. Turns out I was right about that. I don't really want to vote for Trump in 2024 because I think he will be more interested in revenge than it running the country and I'm also afraid that given the revolving door he had last time and additional others since then who just don't want any part of him, he will find it almost impossible to find people to work under him, especially when that revolving door will be turning even faster.

Biden won in 2020 because people falsely believed that he would try uniting the country. While Biden has done nothing of the sort, most Americans still want the country united and I don't think Trump is the man for that job, given that I believe he will use his power to seek revenge instead of uniting, not that he doesn't deserve revenge. But, it is not what is best for the country.

The economy under Obama and Trump was built on debt and continual Fed pumping.

We are paying for that now. It's odd how both of their supporter claim how great the economies we're under them but yet can't explain why we continued to have to pump billions and billions of dollars constantly in these supposedly great markets.

Trump policies lowered my taxes significantly.
Trump policies caused low inflation and a real wage increase.
Trump policies led to very low unemployment.
Trump policies brought the poverty rate in America to an ALL TIME RECORD LOW!
In spite of all those wins, some people were upset that Trump wasn't a "professional" politician. Well now they have one, Joe Biden 40 years experience at being a professional politician and how is it going? Yeah it's a total shit show.
