Now that the Republicans will be controlling the House come January and investigations and impeachments (possibly of Merrick Garland) will become front and center, the so called independent DOJ has decided to accelerate their Trump investigations. I wonder why the supposedly independent DOJ thinks these investigations need to be accelerated before Republicans take over. I smell a rat, a very big fat biased to the bone rat.

Actually, Merrick Garland waited until the midterms were over to do this, idiot, so he would not be accused of interfering in the election.

Garland has all the grounds he needs to indict Trump immediately, but he again is holding back because everyone knows the Trumptards would accuse him of partisan hackery, and Trump has primed them to become violent.

That's probably why Trump announced right after the midterms. Not because he thinks he has a chance, but precisely because he thinks he won't be indicted as a candidate.

The idea of a special counsel has been discussed for a while to cut through all the bullshit.
