I like Vance, he is a better orator than Trump and makes a lot of sense. If he were to choose Gabbard as VP that would be the perfect winning ticket for America. Look at Tariffs, US is a primary a service economy, service jobs(Marketing, Sales, IT, Legal...) are better paid than manufacturing jobs... Work in a manufacturing company and the guys making the product are the lowest paid and least listened too... Why? because that semi skilled jobs are too expensive for the US to do, they will do it if it is highly automated, assembling a product of imported components and/or local skills...
The US manufacturing today is generally at least 2 of the three above before looked at...

Whole idea is just plain stupid... It is trying to win a race you shouldn't want to be in... There is also the cost, China has stopped orders for US food production. The subsidies for farmers will cast multiples of this import tax...

I have no side. I've supported every U.S president who was elected. I agree or disaree on policies, as I do to those in Canada, but I support whomever is elected. Cheerleading for one side exclusively isn't wise in politics in my opinion. I would say that Vance/Gabbard would be the most formidale battery and you can be sure that the Dems know this. There is a reason they tried to stop her rise. Rubio seems a shoe-in to be at least V.P, the problem.is that this seems to be what the Establisment want. You must not have read "Hillbilly Elegy"? My wife loves his story. A combat veteran, JD earned his trip to Yale Law. As a senator JD learned/knows politics. As Trump's understudy, he knows how to get things done and how to pursue your vision for the US, unlike Gavin, whose leftist policies ruined CA.
