In New York, the Democrat Establishment Dug Their Own Graves

That's both parties. They are both in the pockets of billionaires. It's crazy to me how many of you still believe either of them are fighting for you. They both have their billionaire donors and special interests groups funneling billions to them.
There is a difference, not that I don't agree with you that billionaires donate to Dems as well....

President Joe Biden did not appoint any billionaires to his Cabinet or senior administration. While some officials and high-ranking ambassadors were multi-millionaires, the administration's collective Cabinet net worth was estimated at around $118 million, with no single member holding a net worth reaching $1 billion.

Vs.

Donald Trump’s second administration (which began in January 2025) is widely recognized as the wealthiest presidential administration in modern U.S. history. He has tapped an unprecedented 13 billionaires for various Cabinet positions, high-level administrative posts, and ambassadorships.
If you count the broader administration alongside the formal Cabinet, the primary billionaires include:
Elon Musk & Vivek Ramaswamy – Co-leads of the newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) (an advisory role rather than an official federal agency).
Linda McMahon – Secretary of Education (family wealth built from WWE).
Howard Lutnick – Secretary of Commerce (financial services executive).
Doug Burgum – Secretary of the Interior (software entrepreneur).
Scott Bessent – Secretary of the Treasury (hedge fund manager).
Kelly Loeffler – Administrator of the Small Business Administration (SBA).
Jared Isaacman – NASA Administrator (tech and aerospace entrepreneur).
Charles Kushner – Ambassador to France (real estate tycoon).
Warren Stephens – Ambassador to the United Kingdom (investment banking).
(Note: During Trump's first term from 2017 to 2021, he also appointed several billionaires or family-wealth billionaires to his Cabinet, including Education Secretary Betsy DeVos and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross).

Are 3 people really a trend, though? Out of 450 seats...?

Am I disappointed that my preferred candidate or candidates lost in N.Y.'s State primary? Yes, especially with Dan Goldman, who I found refreshing and promising, Trumpers also hated him when he was elected.

....the citizens in these districts, disagree with whom I wanted, which is their prerogative and right to do so...

I don't think the 3 can do the harm you may fear, or even I may fear....
We got to the point where you guys are molesting children in school restrooms when you poo pooed other agendas. AOC cost her district 25 thousand jobs and thousands more support employment. Much of that work would have gone to her constituents. She deserves to be out of politics. Instead, she will be destructive if she gains more power. What a joke. And it is on us.

While that may be true, it's optics. We both know who pulls the strings on both sides.

From my deep dive....

She sounds extremely nutty to me, though she did apologize on a debate stage and try to excuse those rants by saying she was a student activist on campus at the time and has matured since then. (she even tweeted in 2021, **** Kamala Harris).

Her opponent, Rep. Espaillat, who was a strong progressive and brought home the bacon to the district since he was elected to replace Charlie Rangel retiring, won the Bronx half of the district, she won the Manhattan side of the district which was 49% of the vote vs his 46%.

How I feel about it?

Their elections are every two years....if her constituents are not pleased with her representation, they can vote her out two years from now.

I personally think they made a big mistake by replacing Rep. Espaillat who did his district well, but am a supporter of letting districts pick who they want to elect....that's simply how it works....

Do you seriously believe her claim? Every candidate backed by the Democratic Socialists of America has spouted those same talking points. They all believe these things. She believes these things. She's backtracking now because of the media scrutiny.

The point is this is not an anomaly within the Democratic Party. It's a seed that was planted several years ago and is sprouting. More and more candidates like this are running and winning and that's a problem. I think you're smart enough to know that.

While the Islamists and mainstream communists won big in the New York primaries, those like Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer better watch their backs. They need to get on board with the new Stalinists or they will wind up with a shiv in the liver as the party faithful did to Joe Biden.

On New York Democrat primary night, the Democrat Socialists of America (DSA) crazies swept their three targeted congressional races, while other DSA maniacs saw “fantastic” results. Soon after the final numbers were reported, the Democrat House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08) gave a speech “cheering” the results. In response, the DSA crowd at a victory party booed and chanted “you’re next” at Jeffries, whom they loathe for his supposed “moderation.”

It's glorious!

Look at the nazi thugs tormenting leftist Scott Wiener, who enthusiastically invited them into his party.

This is justice.

It's all for the greater good

The future is bleak, A/I will replace many if not eventually most, jobs....we're in debt up to our eye balls.... the people making the billions and the ones replacing us with A/I and getting increased profit and wealth ...don't want to pay....

Something has to change, to deal with all the eventual unemployed....something, I don't know what, will change the way we are now....more socialism....?......higher corporate taxes to pay for the unemployed ex workers replaced by A/I? New jobs that I can't for see yet?

What we see as a problem with these far left democratic socialist candidates now, could possibly, end up being our future.... :(
