No the City of Oakland elected a Mayor and a D.A. who were NOT qualified for their jobs. The Mayor and the D.A. could not do their jobs. Plus OPD is recovering from the "Riders" Scandal. Bent cops who flaked suspects, lied on the stand and created evidence out of thin air of thin air. They lied on the stand, really bad cops. One fled to Mexico and still lives there. Oakland is one fucked up city, Newsom ain't to blame.
