In Florida not even government contractors need to check legal employment status.

Don't need to just go after the employer. Shut them down

They hire illegals?

I crack up at your inability to follow a conversation

You can answer my questions or ramble and I can ramble right along with you.

I have. Nothing happened to the company but you'll persist in supporting your failed politicians.
haha yeah being federally indicted is nothin

you are a joke

So, if employers are responsible for the immigration status of people they hire, how about customers? Should patrons of the local taco truck be held accountable?

Is it illegal to buy taco's from a taco truck? if not, this was a stupid question.

Nope.

Nope.

To save time, one big nope. Federal e-verify is not mandatory outside of a few cases. Obviously not for Florida employers or there would have been no need for Florida to pretend to force employers to use it.
Those quote came from your article, which says that the contractor DID follow e verify.

The company did their part and used info from e verify, DHS is the one to be blamed here because they are the ones who said those illegals were eligible to work.

Try to follow along. The question is whether it should be illegal.

If you're arguing that employers should be punished for crimes that their employees commit, why shouldn't customers? If you hire someone to mow your grass, should you be responsible for ensuring that their papers are in order?

What other crimes should this logic apply to? We've already got employers playing the role of tax collector. ACA turns them into our health care providers. Now you want them serving as immigration enforcement. Anything else on the agenda?

One of the core ironies of the liberal perspective is that they're convinced employers have too much power - yet they leap at every opportunity to give employers even more power over us - by forcing dependencies and demanding that employers police their employees.

Are you going to grant me the right to do background checks?

That should be fun.

Did you read my post? It was a question. Several of them. Any answers? Evasion is unbecoming.
