There is a way other than impeachment. If a judge rules outside the scope of their constitutional role, their ruling is individual rather than judicial. They are then open to civil suits.

For example, this judge in Hawaii included in his disgraceful ruling the justification that Trump's ban would harm Hawaii's tourist industry. Managing the economy is outside the scope of a judge's office. Therefore his ruling included his individual preferences and was not made on the basis of his membership in the judiciary as an officer of the court. He therefore forfeits his judicial immunity. If a refugee from Yemen commits an attack, the victims would have legal standing to sue him for damages.

I hadn't yet gotten to this point... If a ruling is outside the scope of judicial authority, the judge can be held civilly or criminal liable. There are several remedies for this activism. And the moment a case is filed, with him as a defendant, his position as a judge is in peril of a finding of liability. He would then be removed by Judicial ethics process.

It wouldn't be that hard to raise a little money, incorporate and file for a 501 c 3, hell, just raise a little money, then place ads in each of these rogue judges' districts advertising for VOICEs victims of immigrant criminal elements. The federal law is very clear in that the president has the authority to restrict any person or "class of people" from entry into the nation if he determines that they may be a detriment to the country. Islam is a class of people and he, by virtue of that federal law, is entitled to deny their entry into the country. My only gripe is that all of Islam should be permanently restricted, with the exception of those who helped the U.S. forces by being interpreters. The federal judges are clearly violating the president's right to restrict people from entering the country and thus should be removed and replaced.

These judges gave, as part of their reasoning, the first amendment denial of the government to make a government religion. They are trying to give foreigners constitutional rights they are not entitled to have. The logic is so flawed that its ridicules.

These judges are so far out of their scope of practice that their actions could be construed as deliberately treasonous.

This is why only those who understand strict construction should be appointed. And the House/Senate judiciary committee's should have to assess and approve the continued appointment of all federally appointed judges every 5 years. IMHO But this too could be used as a political weapon.

Sources say the Trump Administration is requesting an emergency hearing at SCOTUS regarding constitutional authority of the president to make the EO and that Hawaii and Washington state have no standing constitutionally to make any objection. Justice Roberts is the designated primary at the Supreme Court overseeing the 9th Circuit.
