The OP thread is to say the least inane. If a judge issues an order, the remedy for the Order is an appeal not to ignore it. Ignoring a court order, is MAGA insurrection against the constitutional order.

The President of the United States giving an order that violates the constitution or law may be engaged in a crime. Is it a crime for a soldier to not follow an illegal order of a President? I think not. If the President orders the military to arrest all members of the opposition or kill students at universities who oppose the regime, it is no crime to disobey that order.

The president, according to the law, determines a national emergency. So, I'm gonna say "no".

Since when did all military personnel get to decide what is legal and what is illegal? You act as if Trump has asked the military to do things that are clearly, by all counts, illegal. He hasn’t. Just because the average pink-haired Democrat thinks something is illegal doesn’t make it so.

They have always had the ability to recognize legal vs illegal orders, and are required to act accordingly, and in fact, can be held responsible, if following an illegal order, a normal person would recognize as an illegal order.

Take, for example Trump's question to Mark Esper (Trump's longest serving Secretary of Defense ), on the occasion Trump wanted to send in the 82nd Airborne to quell protests after the George Floyed killing, “Can’t you just shoot them? Just shoot them in the legs or something?” Esper says Trump said.". If the President was actually ordering the troops to shoot unarmed protestors in the legs, to stop a protest, a normal Officer or enlisted soldier would recognize, it as totally illegal, and know he would be facing charges of murder or attempted murder, with no protection under the defense "I was just following orders".

I took that oath over 60 years ago, and I distinctly remember being taught in boot that you are not only nor required to disobey illegal orders, but you can be prosecuted for obeying such an order that is patently illegal. Those laws were established in 1950, in response to the atrocities committed by the Germans in WW2. We have some very specific laws concerning where the military can interfere in civilian matters. Our military officers have the duty to refuse orders that specifically break those laws. The Dems points were and are valid.
