A couple of weeks ago I attended the Amelia Island Concours d' Elegance (now affectionately, albeit unofficially, known as "The Amelia").

This was one of my favorite test drives, although I kinda' wish it had been a 911 as opposed to a Cayman:

Had her about 10 yrs....Long sold

She was a real Head Snapper at dusk

It is, but it could've been much better.

Unfortunately, because of the Cayman's design, it won't be offered with a manual transmission:

"Unlike the regular GT4, there won't be the option of a manual transmission. Preuninger says there isn't one available that is able to both work with the Cayman's mid-mounted engine and take its power and torque."

It's almost criminal to put an automatic transmission into a car like this...
