With Joe Biden in the White House, Americans who love their country will have to look elsewhere for leadership. D.C., for now, has resorted to being the crooked swamp that puts politicians and special interest groups ahead of Americans. The Biden administration will do everything in its power to push radical and toxic policies onto Americans.

It’s up to strong, conservative leaders at the state level to defend our liberties, uphold our values, and even protect our laws.

One of Biden’s biggest failures so far has been to protect our Southern border. It’s clear his administration has no intention of curtailing illegal immigration. Thousands, perhaps millions, of illegals will flood our country in the coming years. These people will take away jobs from Americans, hurting opportunity and dragging down wages.

States have the power to stop this, by enforcing immigration and labor laws. One simple measure can ensure illegals don’t work in a state: E-Verify. Many Democrat-run states do not use this system to verify an employee’s citizenship.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has hung signs on all the major interstate highways entering Florida informing everyone traveling by road into the state that the Sunshine State has implemented E-Verify, a background check system for employers to see if prospective hires are in fact legally authorized to work in the United States.

The signs, DeSantis’s office told Breitbart News, are now visible on all three main interstate gateways into Florida along I-10, I-95, and I-75. The signs come after Florida’s legislature last year passed E-Verify measures which DeSantis signed into law last summer.

Illegal Aliens: Don't come to Florida, You are not welcome here. If you are caught here, you will be fined and imprisoned, and then deported. And Florida prisons are not good places to be. You could be assigned to a chain gang, working outside in blistering summer heat, and very high humidity. A few days ago my thermometer (in Tampa) showed 131 degrees, 99% humidity, and it's still only April. This is an equatorial climate, that comes from the mouth of the Amazon river, by way of the Gulf Stream.

Every employer in the US is required to fillout an I-9 form on every new employee. This form lists the IDs used to verify the employee.

Also, don't feel like Florida is on the front lines here.

Alabama has used E-Verify since 2011.
Arizona has used it since 2008.
Colorado has used E-Verify or another version of the system, since 2006.
Florida implemented the E-Verify requirement in 2011.
Georgia required it for gov't hires and contractors in 2006, and for all private businesses in 2011.
Mississippi requires all Mississippi employers to use E-Verify with new hires. Mississippi employers with 250 or more employees must comply with the law as of 1 July 2008. The law goes into effect for employers with 100 to 249 employees as of 1 July 2009. Employers with 30 to 99 employees must comply by 1 July 2010.

And there are a dozen more states that have been using E-Verify for several years.

Oh, and do you remember those chicken plants in Mississippi that were raided because they all hired so many illegal aliens? E-Verify was required by all employers after 2010. The raids took place in 2019. Don't don't think that E-Verify will save you.

Prosecuting employers who hire illegals is what will save you.

No it won't. Prosecutors have long given up on prosecuting employers under the IRCA law, because of the track record of very few convictions. It's been found to be a waste of time and money, in which prosecutors are squeezed by the "knowingly" clause.

Attach a fine so high that it will wipe out all profits the slave labor can bring and the incentive will go away.

Usually, they wont get it to work. They have to prove the employer KNOWINGLY hired.

That is just state gov'ts winking at the employers and allowing them to do what they want. The employers get cheap labor and the state prosecutors don't have to go after the wealthy constituents they depend on to get elected.

The "knowingly" clause is not an issue.

Officers of companies can be held just as accountable for not knowing, as they can for knowing. It is their job to know. And its funny, when it was about money and lying to investors, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act clamped down and held them accountable. But we can't do that with Human Resources? Bullshit.

Or they can prove the employer was derelict in his duty to follow the law. They can prosecute that as well. But they don't. Because they don't WANT to prosecute it.

I think Biden made a big mistake by failing to complete the wall. I think hundreds of refugees are going to die on account of Joe Biden's big fat ego.

WRONG! The knowingly clause IS THE ISSUE.. When are you going to post intelligently here? Sheeesh. The knowingly clause HAS BEEN the issue for decades, and this has been well known for decades. Why don't you come in here and tell us that water is not wet ?

Hard to believe some of the assinine things people post in here. Read the IRCA law... 3 times if necessary.

Yeah ? Well maybe your post would have a grain of traction, if you presented one iota of evidence to show what you say. If prosecutors could prove the employer was derelict, and could prove he/she actually KNEW illegal employees were illegal, then there would be evidence to show that. So far all we've got from you is your guesses.

Biden made a big mistake by becoming President of the United States. He is a jerk, who ought to be in a retirement home, who was never qualified to be president. He has no record of accomplishment, despite decades of government employment, which his constituents foolishly allowed him to have (unless he attained those offices with election fraud also, which, at this point, is quite conceivable).

The thread premise is a lie.

With Joe Biden in the White House, immigration law is being followed, consistent with Constitutional case law.

YOU are a lie, and a laughingstock, and everyone in this forum knows it. Biden is a lawless rogue, with no respect for US law , immigration or otherwise, completely in violation of immigration law, and is destroying America, by allowing the whole world inside our borders. With Biden running the show, we DON'T HAVE any borders.

Over the years, the 1986 IRCA law has been shown to be nearly impossible to prosecute. Prosecutors have to prove that the employers were fully knowledgable of the illegal status of their employees. Easier said than done. Would anybody in this comment section, like to show how they can exactly do that for a court judge or jury, beyond a reasonable doubt ?

Remember that the illegal alien is not going to volunteer the information of his/her illegal status. Quite the contrary, there is (and has been for years) a whole industry built around false documentation, and other schemes illegals cleverly use. That includes the wrong interpretation of the Constitution's 14th amendment, regarding birthright citizenship, which never was supposed to be granted to children of aliens, according to it author, Senator Jacob Howard.

When a corrupt Democrat Congress makes laws offensive to 82% of voters, that is proof the majority of the people are not getting represented by the people who surreptitiously or by lies wrote or interpreted the untenable "laws" being represented here. We have proof that there are deep anomalies in interpretation of laws and manipulation of votes all over the country in E2020. You will not get away with this forever. 82% dissatisfaction and a press that is cutting off its nose to spite itself. Go figure.

There are forces in place to discourage the Democrats from turning the BLM into a global KGB. That's what happens when you turn everything in the country into charges of racism with skin color causing you to size down the truth. 82% of voters aren't going to take racism no matter what skin color persons are pushing fascism down the American gullet be it red or yellow, black or white. Humans are precious in the sight of God and if you are plowing everything in the unfortunate choice to blame other people as racists, you are crusing for a bruising. And it is unwise to knock yourself out.:290968001256257790-final:
