end the loophole of paying family members to work on campaigns

and all unspent campaign money must be turned into the Treasury

There have been many threads on how to get corruption out of politics. The problem is all the ideas in the world won't matter, because the politicians will have to make those changes, and they never will. Does anyone have any idea how to go over their heads? I've heard people mention a convention of states. I'm not sure what that is, but is their a remedy for people to clean house?
