If your daughter was at that San Bernadino Christmas party, would you want her to have a gun?

Would you want your daughter to have had a concealed pistol at the San Bernadino attack?

nope...I am saying she hears shooting...she u holsters her weapon and waits in the bathroom until the police come and clear the building...try to engage your brain before you post....

and guns are on of the most regulated products in the country...and with 320 million guns in private hands we only had 505 accidental gun deaths....in 2013

accidental death in cars 2013....34,000...

Accidental car death...... are accidental..... ....Gun deaths most or all are intentional. That's the difference.

No..actual gun accidents are 505 for 2013….accidental car deaths are 34,000

Criminal use of guns to commit murder in 2014…..8,124….that means people who by law cannot own or carry guns….steal or illegally acquire guns…breaking several laws to do it…and then break the law against murder…..

Not normal people who simply own guns….

Intentional law breaking is the difference…….and you want to focus on the people who do not break the law.
What do you mean No? Car accident are accident. All gun deaths are intentional no matter how you sliced it.
You've obviouly never handled a gun, gone hunting, or have any idea what you are talking about. A gun, in essence, is a machine, all machines are suseptable to mechanical failure. The human factor also plays a part, it used to be that many hunters would be out in the woods with ordinary clothing on, and a hanky hanging out of their pocket. They looked a bit like a deer running away, to someone who was inexperienced or flat out careless. This sort of thing still happens, people mistake other people for animals, it's not intentional. It is possible, that a person could be unseen by a fellow hunter (sitting in a low-lying area such as a ditch), when the first hunter shoots, the bullet could travel through (or miss entirely) their intended target, continue traveling until it strikes the second hunter in the low-lying area. To say that all gun deaths are intentional is both naive and foolishly dishonest.

But I don't want to attend a movie where most of the people are armed
I don't want to attend sporting events where crazed sports fans are packing
I don't want the asshole who just cut me off in traffic to be armed
I don't want to go to a wedding, graduation or funeral where everyone is packing...just in case

Gun is only made for one thing........ to kill people.

Wrong.....absolutely wrong...a gun is designed to preserve the life of the user....and most of the time it does that without ever being fired...so no...it isn't designed to kill people..it is designed to fire a projectile......and in most self defense it doesn't have to do that to carry out it's primary function..preserving the life of the user.....

Most cops never fire their guns...but the presence of their gun keeps the peace....

Most soldiers never fire their guns....but the presence of armed soldiers keeps the peace...

Most civilians attacked by violent criminals never fire their guns....and the criminal runs away or is captured and no shots are fired.

So, uh, are you saying a woman survivor said she had time to leave where she was visiting with friends at the xmas party, unlock her locker, get her purse out of her locker, get her gun out of her purse, put her purse back, lock the locker, return to the party and take down the shooters?

Amazing.

ALL Deaths via guns will surpass ALL deaths via automobiles this year.

America's Top Killing Machine

Gun deaths are poised to surpass automobile deaths in the United States this year.

For the better part of a century, the machine most likely to kill an American has been the automobile.

Car crashes killed 33,561 people in 2012, the most recent year for which data is available, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Firearms killed 32,251 people in the United States in 2011, the most recent year for which the Centers for Disease Control has data.

But this year gun deaths are expected to surpass car deaths. That's according to a Center for American Progress report, which cites CDC data that shows guns will kill more Americans under 25 than cars in 2015. Already more than a quarter of the teenagers—15 years old and up—who die of injuries in the United States are killed in gun-related incidents, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics.

so? deaths are deaths...by car or by gun.....
Briebart included ALL car accidents as accidents, even though some are intentional, for example those driving while drunk often kill OTHER people....

As far as suicide, a death by gun, is a death by gun....maybe we should not allow those 2/3's suicide deaths be brushed aside as you and other nonsensical people want to do.... many suicide deaths are deaths of the mentally disturbed.

I have no desire for any kind of gun control, other than some tweaking here or there so you can stop with your bull crap.

What I do object to is sites like Briebart who pass along these deceptive statistics to politically make their point.... and you all just lick them up like ice-cream,

like this statistic they put out for car accidents, which includes all car deaths, even if not by accident,

this deaths via car accident while cherry picking gun deaths.....is simply

apples vs oranges.

Actually, it was the anti gunners who brought up the car vs. gun stats...when they first tried the lie that gun deaths are about to exceed car deaths....I have the article on that....

and in the United States, in 2013...19,000 people committed suicide without a gun.....so the other 21,000 suicides...if they were denied a gun...would simply use what the other 19,000 used.....

Who cares about accidents by guns?
People killed by guns are killed on purpose
they are? really? another whacked out libturd without facts. who'd have figured.
Here is how it works

People killed in cars die by accident
People killed by guns are killed because someone intended to kill
Wrong

and whatever the number of gun deaths, close to two thirds are suicides.
so? deaths are deaths...by car or by gun.....
Briebart included ALL car accidents as accidents, even though some are intentional, for example those driving while drunk often kill OTHER people....

Wrong?

30,000 Americans were killed by guns by accident or that people die because car accidents are intentional?

How about we stop NRA's helping terrorists buy guns?

nope...I am saying she hears shooting...she u holsters her weapon and waits in the bathroom until the police come and clear the building...try to engage your brain before you post....

and guns are on of the most regulated products in the country...and with 320 million guns in private hands we only had 505 accidental gun deaths....in 2013

accidental death in cars 2013....34,000...

Distorted. A machines are made especially for one thing only. Like your car..... is made to transport people.
Gun is only made for one thing........ to kill people. Whoever pull the gun maybe it be accident or intentional. It is made for one thing.......to kill people. Try again.
No gun was ever designed for killing animals, competative shooting, or other such activities? Wow, you really do live in a fantasy world.
I compete in area of Business and Sports where I'm good at......But no guns and I do not like killing animals just for food.
Maybe you live in fear and I don't.... that would be fantasy for you.

Technically yes... But in reality. No. Guns are made for killing only.
