If you voted for biden and democrats, you voted for this: New York Police to citizens...on your own in subways......

Yes, the courts have been bought out by the National Rampage Association... it's a problem we need to fix.

Most people didn't hunt with muskets... which weren't very effective for hunting because they weren't very accurate. Muskets were only effective in volleys. They were more likely to use bows or traps to catch meat.

As time went on muskets were replaced with more powerful and accurate firearms. They kept getting better every decade. Europe was messing around with rifles in the 15th century, and we started using them in America in the early 1700's.

Only a true idiot would think Andrew Cuomo was some sort of hero.
That idiot is you, apparently. Ask relatives and friends of seniors he killed off at NY senior homes
what a hero he is.
I'm not qualified to assess the governor of New York but, as of October, NYC's residents had a decidedly positive view of him regarding his response to Covid-19, and my friends who live there tell me they're pretty satisfied with the job he has done. (One, who's not a fan of his, conceded, "Well, he didn't suggest we guzzle disinfectants!")

Guy, on any given day in America, 100 people are killed with guns. Not sure why you want to keep signaling out Chicago, where we HAD a sensible gun ban and the National Rampage Association got it struck down. So then all these gun stores and CCW shops popped up and the murder rate doubled.
Some nervous nellies are so insecure they can't mince around in public without sporting man enhancers on their hips - the same jamokes that often refuse to wear masks to avoid spreading a deadly pandemic because they think masks make them look like sissies.

Go figure.

We weren't talking about "as time went on", we were talking about what the Slave Rapists were thinking in 1787... and in 1787, they were thinking about militias, not guns.

Of course, one nut with an AR15 has more firepower and accuracy than a whole platoon of Minutemen, which is really a bad thing if they go into a preschool or a theater listening to the voices in their head.

Our founders wanted us armed in the event we had to fight a tyrannical government. The founders were brilliant. They knew muskets and rifles would not be our only arms forever. That's why they wrote an amendment process in our Constitution. If we want to change our Constitution, we can, but it takes a strong majority of our government and people to do it. Until that time, the rights granted to the citizens remain in the document.

Our Second Amendment is clear.

Right wing propaganda, there has been more civil unrest in this country under Trump since back in the 60s.

Really?

Those crazy Right Wingers! Rioting, looting and burning down their own cities for the last 4 years !!!

If there was an Idiots award, you just earned it royally.

Why was there civil unrest again? Because of Trump. Keep that award for yourself.

How many conservatives rioted and looted during Obama's 8 years? NONE
We should have. he was a crazy anti-American apologist that harmed America and race relations forever.

You're blaming Trump on the insanity and lawlessness of YOUR people?
Trump DID NOTHING WRONG.
Insane people like you are EXACTLY WHY we need to stop being so patient and docile.

In fact, the longer the Right remains docile and quiet, the more violent you people are going to become.

It is Trump Humpers like you that are destroying this country.

Trump had nothing to do with it. A cop in one city had a suspect die while he was in custody from an overdose. The media promoted it was because of police brutality, when it was actually police procedure. That sparked the lowlifes all across the country to destroy and burn down their cities.

So a cop in a Democrat city had a suspect die, the people in liberal cities decided to riot, and the liberal Mayors did nothing about it. How is that Trump's fault? Was it DumBama's fault when it happened twice under his administration?

Or we can just use other tools to get the gun industry to change their behavior.

Let victims of gun violence sue the gun companies, you'd be AMAZED how fast they change their behavior.

And when that becomes precedent, then maybe we should do the same to our automobile industry, our internet providers, the people who manufacture video systems that sell violent games. Hey! Maybe we can start suing Hollywood for their violent movies and shows that set some people off. Wouldn't that be a hoot when your movie ticket is 35.00?

None of those things are designed to specifically kill people.

Hollywood already bows to liability laws... It's why you don't see many movies with nudity these days.

The better precedent is the Tobacco companies, when we found out what they were doing, marketing to kids specifically to get them addicted, they were made to pay huge settlements and forced to change their behavior.

Upholding the rule of law starts at the top; our legislators should set the example and fix that Standard for the People.

The defense and protection of the state and of the United States is an obligation of all persons within the state. The legislature shall provide for the discharge of this obligation and for the maintenance and regulation of an organized militia.

In a free country, government should not be forcing people to change behavior. That's what you do to animals, not people unless you live under a dictatorship or Communism which I know you on the left adore. Guns are designed to shoot an object through a distance. It can be used for hunting, fun and practice, and self defense. It's not the manufacturers fault if somebody misuses their product no different than it's an automobile makers fault if somebody gets drunk and kills a family of five on the highway.

Guns have never been advertised specifically to criminals, and I dare you to find one ad of theirs that ever did. In fact the only ads you can ever find on guns is in gun magazines. They don't advertise on billboards, they don't send flyers in the mail, they don't advertise on television or radio.

The commies have stolen an election, and now want to disarm the law abiding citizens so their fellow criminals will have the upper hand. This country is headed for a bloodier revolution than the civil war.

It is if they know that product is being misused... which is why the Tobacco companies were taken to task.

We should do the same to the gun industry.

And frankly, for all your welping about "Freedom". If I have to live in a world of trigger happy cops, metal detectors, security doors, CCTV, active shooter drills , etc. The way we've had to structure our society because of the gun industry's irresponsibility... not sure how that constitutes "Freedom".

No, they don't. What they do is find all sorts of ways around the laws to keep guns out of the hands of criminals. ike the gun show loophole, straw buyers, etc.

Guy you lost by 7 million votes... And ask Timmy McVeigh how bloody revolutions work out.

Guns allow people to have security in their home. If somebody breaks down your door in the middle of the night, you may get to your cell phone and dial it fast enough for the dispatcher hear the crook blowing your head off, but that's about it. So how many metal detectors do you go through a year? The only time I've gone through one is at court. How is your freedom being attacked because of a security camera? Many people have them on their home today when you walk down the street.

Tobacco companies were falsely sued because they made the claim their product brought no harm to people. That's different than guns. Guns are more like the internet. Most people use it for good, and some people use it to help commit crimes. Should we allow our internet providers to be sued out of existence because they knew people were scamming other people out of money, posting child porn, setting people up to be robbed?

No, they don't. What they do is find all sorts of ways around the laws to keep guns out of the hands of criminals. ike the gun show loophole, straw buyers, etc.

Gun manufacturers have nothing to do with gun shows. Those are setup by people in the private market. Same with straw buyers. Gun manufacturers have nothing to do with that either. Straw buying is against the law.

McVeigh was only one person with a couple of helpers.
