They do a pretty good job in my opinion, but it's beyond human to not fuk up occasionally due to political or other bias against some trolls that can get under their skin.

Those that do fuk up too regularly are usually taken down pretty soon.

At the present I can't suggest any moderator who has stepped very far out of bounds. In fact, the political climate seems to be having a positive influence on most of them!

And it can be missed that the moderators have become much more liberal and much less supportive of Maga lately.

That could be the boss's choice of who becomes one.

I think they do okay. It is subjective to a degree. You know you're doing something right as a Moderator if both sides are pissed.

BS. I know that at least one ex-moderator who actively tried to censor me, snuck points on me that I didn't know about, then would ban me for going over the allowed points. Several other black members of this forum have been harassed by right-wing moderators, and so have some whites who are considered liberal.
