Another one who doesn’t understand how vaccines work. There needs to be high levels of covid circulating in order for a vaxxed person to become infected. That comes from the unmitigated spread by the unvaxxed. The virus only thrives at those levels in the unvaxxed. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that a breakthrough infection is the same as an unvaxxed infection.

Herd immunity can't be achieved with vaccines that are not effective enough.
The only way to achieve herd immunity is through recovery, so we should be deliberately infecting volunteers under 40.
We could have ended this in a month, last March, through variolation.
Ineffective vaccines will never end it.
Disinfecting does not require shutting any place down, since the virus dies in about an hour on most surfaces.

Not sure what your point is?
It has always been known that T-cells have immunity memory.
They are in places like the bone marrow.
They then produce antibodies when needed, but antibodies only live about a month or so, which means you can't test for immunity.

yes, there is no getting rid of covid. Its endemic, which means practically everybody will be exposed eventually and catch it.
This means to goal is to prevent hospitalization and death as much as possible.

Correct. I got the vaccine because my wife has Lupus and a weak immune system. I want to protect her as much as possible.
