Your right to free speech includes being crude, rude, hateful, ugly, insulting to others too. But if you are in my place of business and do that to the boss/supervisor, other employees, customers etc., you're out because it would be clearly obvious in the written personnel policy that such is not allowed. And no court in the land, including SCOTUS, would likely overturn that.

(Just mentioned as you completely ignored my argument and went to something else.)

Now. Do you defend football players deliberately and intentionally insulting and disrespecting millions of Americans when they insult and disrespect the U.S. flag and National Anthem? Do you think an employer or organization should allow that? Is that appropriate in a civil society?
