Zone1 If You Can Recognize These Images Then You Are Pretty Much ANCIENT

Ouch.

My aunt got her hair caught in one as a kid and had to cut it off to get her loose.
.

Yeah, I remember the scary stories about what the wringer can do to us.

.

Most are dirty, from playing them in the dirt. Lol (I didn't bother to clean any of them.

I had only one full set. I used them in my yard along with my matchbox cars.

I also forgot to mention, I also had Operation. The battery-operated game, where you become the "Surgeon". I always got zapped when I would get his "funny bone".

Remember the Cabbage Patch Dolls? One of my sisters had the FULL collection. While I had the FULL collection of the "Garbage Pail Kids" (They were stickers that mocked the Cabbage Patch Dolls).

I also had a pogo stick, the early editions of Mad Magazines. As well, as lot of the Star Wars figurines and sets.
All good toys. I sucked at Operation. :auiqs.jpg:

Those were nearly indestructable.
Nearly. The farmer who lived across the county road from us had a long driveway, and he had some of it paved where it went up a hill.

My brothers and cousins and I would ride our Tonka trucks down the paved hill. The metal parts weren't the weak point; the plastic wheels and tires were. They'd wear out where the steel axle went through.

I did have a few Tonka trucks...but I was mostly into matchbox cars when I was a kid. I used to played them in the dirt in my backyard. I didn't know any better...lol

If I had kept them clean and maybe boxed, they probably would be worth something...
I had a few myself for Christmas for my birthday. I use to take them to a kids house and race his Hot wheels cars on his Hot wheels track.

Yes! I had the race tracks that were bought separately. It looped a couple of times and you would "push" the cars along the tracks.

It's very cool that you are able to "pass it on" to your kids.

Were you into Baseball card collecting? I started collecting them in the early 1980's. Mostly Topps and Bowman. Then later on, I started buying box sets of the Upper Decks (1990's).

Sports cards and comic books I sold at the age of 14 in 1972 I had a lot of the greats including all of Sandy Kofax from triple league to the end of his career .All went to auction and brought in a good amount. I haven't collected since . It isa good hobby though.

Was life better in your 20s back in the 70s than it is in your 70s in the 20s? LOL
.

Amen!

Except that President Trump will make it better.

I've heard that ICE is on the border, ready to go operational when President Trump signs the EO closing the border tomorrow.

Wonder how long it will take to release the pardoned J6'ers when he signs that one.
