Since my mom died my dad doesn't want to go anywhere. But he has fun whenever we force him to go.

My mom most of the time doesnt know what she is saying, Which is why she is the last person I would want to be around. She would tell me her girlfriend hit the lottery for $10,000 knowing I am going through a financial crisis and wouldnt want to hear about someone coming into a lot of money

You know what pissed me off recently? Cigarettes went up in price. Why? The tobacco is made in America.

And it really pisses me off cigarettes in Florida are $6 but $10 in Michigan.

Everything is costing everyone more.

But why are bus' and ride shares going up? Again, not stuff being tariffed. I wish American made companies would keep their prices down so we start buying American. I have a feeling when the foreign products go up, so too will the American made.

My dad at 80 has become so selfish, I think if I told him I was dying he'd say "oh that's terrible" and then go right back to talking about the shit he wants to talk about.

Is he getting dementia? Sure seems like it. How you gonna not remember you've told me that story 1 million times? Sometimes I snap and tell him "I've heard that story a million times". Sometimes I just listen and pretend I haven't.

It took my sister in law pointing out to us that my parents are weird. We never knew. We just thought that's how all parents are. But guess what? her parents are weird too. And super needy. My dad is independent. In fact he's like you. Doesn't want to go to family gatherings without MA

For 20 years I worked at places that were a half hour to an hour from my home. It's just where I found a job and I never felt like moving closer so I just drove. THe 1 hour drive was the worse but I listened to the radio and smoked pot. Anyways, the job I have now is 7 minutes from my home. I will NEVER drive 1 hour to get to work ever again. I'll just look local until I find something.

Oh, I forgot the point I was going to make. We all need to stop driving more than 15 minutes to work. Imagine how much less gas we would all use if we did that. It's been 10 years since I've sat on US23 for 1.5 hours because some idiot got into an accident.

Right now there is construction on my road going one way. So no problem getting to work but coming home now takes me 20 minutes. But I can't complain they are fixing our roads. Potholes suck.

The public transportation system in Philly is reducing service and raising prices making it hard for people to get to work. Trains and buses are being eliminated complelety forcing people to walk or catch a uber which will probably be very high. it all starts on aug 25th. And my mom wants to know if I am coming to a ******* cook out? **** No

Yea it is. Be careful. How far can you go on one battery? If it goes far enough for you, get it. I bought a Ebike right before covid. Right before they went up in price. I paid $1500. Bought a 2nd battery because one just isn't enough. When I switch to the 2nd battery, I usually only need it for another 10 miles or so. I think batteries today last longer. They've improved.

Get a bike with a throttle. My buddies all have throttles and I don't. Even with battery assist, after 40 miles I'm tired and wish I had a throttle. I purposely didn't buy one with a throttle because I wanted the exercise.

I used to love going to weddings, graduation parties, even house parties. All the free food. All I had to do was BYOB. But then we grew up and my sister in law told me I always have to bring something. A pie, cake, bottle of wine. If it's a wedding or graduation, it costs me $100.

If you are broke, don't go. Or have someone pick you up. Your mom can't pick you up? No other family member can pick you up?

Most people find a job from someone they know. It's not what you know it's who you know. So go to the party and have your elevator pitch ready on why you need a new job. Be positive. Someone might know someone who's hiring.

I rolled my own cigs for a minute. What a pain and that tobacco isn't Marlboro.

I can't wait till the Speedway raises the price to over $10. I will quit. The other two places are over $10. Now I'm just waiting for Speedway.
