Why some streaming service hasn't jumped on the Aubrey or Hornblower books is crazy to me. Done right you could stretch each book into a season and they'd probably do damn well.

Loved the genre since Mutiny on the Bounty. Hornblower was great but I found Master & Commander sort of incomplete in a sense.

I liked when the director was searching for English actors he told them that the pay was not as much as they were used to...."We blew it all on the ships".....IMHO it was worth every penny!
