Do you call Germany, Deutschland or Germany?

Do you call Japan, Nippon or Japan?

To the Germans they call Germany Deutschland and the Japanese call Japan Nippon.

Same with the Gulf of Mexico. Just pick one or the other. Most wills always say Gulf of Mexico.

Founding fathers??? :laughing0301:

If you're referring to those who signed the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution in the 1770's, Mexico was even founded until 1821.
You Need to Do Your Homework J, or at least attend a more Conservative School, instead of one that Rewrites History:

"The name Gulf of Mexico has been applied to the body of water since at least the late 16th century. English geographer Richard Hakluyt referred to the “Gulfe of Mexico” in The Principall Navigations, Voiages and Discoveries of the English Nation (1589).
That same year, Italian cartographer Baptista Boazio produced a map of Sir Francis Drake’s 1585–86 naval campaign against Spanish colonial holdings in the Americas. Boazio depicted Drake’s fleet skirting the edge of the “Baye of Mexico.” Other names, including the “Gulf of New Spain” and the “Florida Sea,” appeared on maps and in publications over subsequent centuries. In 2025 the U.S. Board on Geographic Names (BGN) adopted the name “Gulf of America” for use by U.S. federal agencies in accordance with Pres. Donald Trump’s Executive Order 14172."

Well tough shit. Call it whatever you want to, but it's now the "Gulf of America."

Alaska, as part of Russia, did not officially have a separate name, but its possessions were called “Russian America” — this was the general name for the territory of the Russian Empire in North America, which included Alaska itself, the Aleutian Islands, and the Pacific coast.

Well, for the "Sheep like Worshippers of Trump" it may be.

But for those who are Capable of Critical Thinking, & Honoring The Truth,..... It is "The Gulf of Mexico".

"Sheep-like worshippers" you say? I just voted for him, and my vote actually counted.

You're the one along with 14 million other Democrats who cast your 2024 primary election votes, only to have your own party flush them all down the toilet. They yanked Biden away from you and shoved a loser named Kamala Harris in your faces.

And like the little brainwashed Democrats you are, you actually voted for her. :laughing0301:
