Happy for the USA women's team but if we are going to discuss equal pay for women shouldn't we be paying boys teams the same amount of money?
Boys teams are regularly beating national women's teams. Here are a few examples:
Swedish national women's team asked a boys under 17 to play against them
with only 10 players and the women were still beaten
3-0.
"Within 30 minutes, the boys had plucked one goal from the women, despite Sundhage asking the AIK under-17 team to take out one of its defenders and play with only 10 players on the field, reports the tabloid Aftonbladet."

Watching women's soccer even at the national level is like watching amateur boxing. Respect should be given for the hard work put into training and effort put into a match but it is a very distant second in quality to top level men's sports.
