Interesting point. I have hunted all my life, my freezer is full of Elk, Venison, Rabbits, Squirrels, trout, bass, etc. I can live on my own in the wilderness with no problem whatsoever. I am as much at home here in Montana as I am in Los Angeles.

I spent my youth being shot at by Victor Charlie in Quang Tri, then Se Kin and a host of other ridiculous places. I have killed my fellow human beings on a number of occasions, never enjoyed doing it, but am not adverse to doing it again if I, or my family is threatened.

Liberals have spent the vast majority of their time telling us how "intelligent" they are - yet 98% of them have forgotten what "hunter- gatherers" do and reuse to eat anything other than "organic" nonsense. Ever heard of pooling or pools of people helping people, and that not all people use the full resources that these companies or governments take in, so allocating funs or services to the needy or sick, as well as other programs has and will always be no problem if done right, and if abuse is controlled. Private schools educate better more cheaply. A bunch of the money you're counting as "education" goes to the liberal objective of big government, not education.

Yeah, My Wife's family is from Minnesota and we've done the ice fishing thing a couple of times.....honestly though, I don't know how much "fishing" really ever gets done....seems like we always spent more time drinking....

On the flip side,however, the fishing on the lakes is really nice in summer!

Summer is worth the 10 months of winter. It explodes. Just recently and have no idea why after all these years got grey owls moving in. They are so huge and so beautiful, I'm in a lovely spot.
