If Trump had kept his campaign promises this time..

Let's face it. The man is a con artist. That's all there is to it. I don't think he ever intended to keep his promises. The only other explanation is that the Mossad has pictures and Trump will do ANYTHING to keep them hidden from the public eye -- and his family.

He could have gone down in history as a truly great President. He could have actually and literally "drained the Swamp." But, for whatever reason, he chose to walk the "low road." The darker path. Instead of draining the Swamp -- he's swimming in it.

You're right about Trump being a con man. But I also think he's still a democrat at heart. Why else would be be so supportive of all the spending increases. Or the socialist TrumpIRA thing? Or giving parents of new babies $1000 each for some sort of government savings/stock account? Why would he still be funding for profit universities. Especially HBC's that are based on racism?

He don't want to drain the swamp. He wants to be king toad.

What about all the spending increases? Back door funding for gender surgeries for minors? 2 months into a war with Iran over a nuke they didn't have? Trumps socialism? His and his RINO's lies?
this country was being destroyed using baby steps because you cant do it overnight or with one election,, trying to do it quickly would have far more devastating effects that could never be undone,,

saving it can only be done the same way,,

what about I wasnt talking to you??

Now if America could just find a President that started "baby stepping" back towards the Constitution and the vision of the Founding Fathers. How about Thomas Massie. Better than what we've all suffered with over the past 50 years or more.

I see what you're doing here; moving the goalposts...And it's not very clever at all.

You're conflating "Iran can't have a nuke" with "Iran can't have a nuke, and we'll embroil the entire region in war, phuk up the economy of the entire world, make you pay $5.00-$7.00 for gasoline, and possibly touch of a famine (because there's not enough fertilizer to go around) to make sure they don't get one."

Those two aren't even remotely the same.
or more likely you just cant handle reality that all politicians lie and a campaign promise holds as much weight as a wet paper napkin in a wind storm,,

anyone that expects a politician to keep campaign promises has serious mental problems,,

similar to a drunk standing on a corner screaming at passing cars,,
In other words ... we should expect all elected officials to be outright liars.

WTF is wrong with baby steps? And we were being destroyed.

thats my point,,

you expect 100% results overnight from trump when that would cause more chaos to the point we cant return from it,,

the rate of destruction is a matter of perspective and your goals,,

what about USAID??

If Trump had kept his campaign promises this time..

Imagine, when Trump was in office, the oil industry was over a year into a boom cycle. Gas prices were coming down. The US was also in an economic recovery stage. We were in no wars. The GOP had just won the trifecta. The house, senate and white house. Plus the SC leaned right.

There was nothing that could stop Trump from making good on all his campaign promises.

Cheap gas
Releasing the Epstein files
DOGE finding hundred of billions in fraud & waste.
A congress to codify all of that.
Plus massive cuts in spending
The border was going to be secure.
Violent illegals were going to be round up and deported
End the WOKE/DEI agenda
End government funded transgender surgeries.
End the war in Ukraine that was costing us so much

Things were going to be real good.. But within 6 months, Trump started backtracking on those promises. And now, after about 1.5yrs, most of didn't happen. And isn't going to happen. The border is secured. And several illegals were deported. The tax cuts are still in place. No tax on tips or social security. And I'll give Trump credit for getting rid of a lot of government employee's. That's always a good thing

But no spending cuts. In fact spending increased drastically. Kids can still get their trans surgeries paid for due to a loop hole, gas is through the roof, we're in a war and have bombed 7 countries in the last years. Trumps tariff wars have pissed half of Europe & Canada off. Job growth has slowed to about 30,000 per month. (if that many)

I was just thinking, how great things would've been if Trump had just stuck with his campaign promises.

If he had, he wouldn’t be Trump.

Irrelevancy is irrelevant.

And you think I didn't notice that you still haven't answered the question that was asked...Didn't ask the way I did by accident.

When did Trump say in any campaign speech or rally that Iran won't be allowed to have a nuke?

I reject your creative way of adding in a caveat to try and talk your way out of the reality that trump made it clear he was not going to allow iran to get nukes,,

There was no caveat ever....I asked a deliberate and direct question and you've dodged and dissembled like a shitlib.

the direct answer is trump has always been clear that he would not allow iran to get nukes,,

how many times he said it "AT A CAMPAIGN SPEECH OR RALLY" is irrelevant,,

I got my tax cut and just finished putting my new E bike together....

It's sad and disgusting to me to see people accept liars and duplicity, which pretty much condones it, whether they realize it or not.
Apparently, some people have such low self worth that they believe their lot in life is to be abused and mistreated. They expect it and are confused if they DON'T get kicked in the teeth. Seems counterintuitive to me.
