If I were to pay for everything AROUND HERE, it would be about $5,000 a year for healthcare, about $15,000 a year for a studio apartment, $1,500 a year on food.

That's close to $22,000 just on insurance you're SUPPOSED to have + Rent.

Now forget about food, ultilities, phone bills, cable bills.

You might very well spend $35,000 a year on everything, when all is said, & done.

Yet, Republicans ALSO WANT you to save up for RETIREMENT.

I've been to other states, and they tend to be INFERIOR.

You can't find good Bread, be it Rye Bread, Pumpernickle, or even Italian breads, or Bagels etc.

You can't find good Pizza, or Pasta, much less good Polish foods like Pierogies, Kielbasy, Kapusta, Krakus Ham etc. etc.



The architecture South, and West of New York is sub-par, for the most part you live in ugly SPRAWLS, with no character.


The parks are MOSTLY ugly, and inferior in the other portions of the country, I've been.

We have a lot of good park-land in New York, and a lot of beauty, only SOME of the Western states, or SOME parts of Northern New England compare.


We have good schools, and that's where most of the taxes go.

I don't mind paying more in taxes, for better schools.


Now, a bunch of thrifty Scots, and their Anglo-Saxon thirfty "Friends" are a different story, you want everything to be crappier for less.

The South, and Mid-West take more in welfare, and yet pay less taxes, meaning THEY PASS the burden onto US in the Civilized portions of the USA.

You also have a lot of military bases per person, and NASA down South, and the South has the government created Tennessee Valley Authority to give the South electricity.

Take New York, the prices go from everything from Mid-town Manhattan, which is like a 1 bedroom apartment for like 1 million give, or take, to Buffalo where you can buy 3 bedroom houses for about 100 thousand give, or take.

Yet, actually NYC probably has lower total tax rates. (Upstate New York has huge tax rates percentage wise, yet I heard people were buying in Buffalo inner-city houses for like 50 grand, and they weren' run down, either.

The reason for this is obviously demand, Buffalo just doesn't have the job opportunities, or life experience opportunities as does Manhattan.

Yes, it is a problem, and I DON'T live in NYC, or Buffalo, for that matter.

Actually Buffalo's hardly different than your Ohio, and obviously Buffalo has much more in common with Ohio than Manhattan, in well just about every category.
