Baltimore Ravens are looking shady

The saga of the past 24 hours has been nuts with the situation between Maxx Crosby, Trey Hendrickson, and the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens made a big free agency splash by getting Crosby from the Raiders for two 1st round picks. They bring Crosby yesterday to Baltimore for a physical, announces that he didn't pass and cancelled the trade. Less than 24 hours later, the Ravens announce that they signed Hendrickson. That allows them to get a pass rusher AND keep both of those draft picks.

Tin-foil hat time: I think that the Ravens got some buyer's remorse after all the FAs left Baltimore and the Ravens couldn't retain any of them. Now all of a sudden, the Ravens are looking at that 1st round pick (#14) and feel like that they're going to need to plug up the losses. They needed a way to get out of the Crosby trade. So, here comes the team doctors to say that he didn't pass a medical physical. Who thought that Crosby was going to pass a physical when the doctor who did the surgery in January said that it was going to be 4-6 months recovery for his meniscus? And it's not like the Ravens didn't speak to that surgeon before making the supposed trade. Also, Trey had hip/core muscle surgery himself back around December 2025 after he was put on injured reserve.

To be fair they didn't do anything against the rules I don't know how the NFL would justify pulling a pick.
