I have "bothered" to read the Bible, several times over. My wife also teaches third and fifth grade classes at a Christian school.

The story of Lot in the Bible, specifically in Genesis 19, serves as a cautionary tale about the consequences of disobedience and the dangers of living in a morally corrupt environment, ultimately highlighting God's judgment and the importance of righteousness. And Lot's continued act of incest led to the founding of the Moabite and Ammonite nations, who later became enemies of the Israelites. Now I don't how you define "secular progressive", but the girl in the video sure seems to embody that definition.

But what does all that have to do with the leftist secular progressive's apparent hatred of Jesus and their denying that He is the Son of God and the Messiah?

Next, his memory has had to endure Peter ,Paul and elder brother James all make up stories to help them establish something he did not want .

And lastly he has had to endure a complete bogus life story --- manipulated by Constantine and his cronies, making outrageous claims that he could fly , walk on water and shape shift dimensions . Etc .

Sounds like a "made up" issue. If you have neighbors attacking your religion, maybe its you, not Jesus. I kind of doubt any are protesting outside the church, I assume you attend 2-3 times a week. I gotta come back to this because it is so significant. The video clearly answers the question. But you can't manage to hear and see the video because you are so ignoring the reality in front of your face. This is your moment to recognize the difference between imagination and reality. What were you thinking when you asked the question? It wasn't about the video that you watched where she clearly states "I hate Jesus because he isn't real." She said it. You can't hear it.

Do you understand the problem? Not being able to see or hear reality is what the parables of Jesus healing the deaf and blind was about.

I don't think Jesus ever existed. Or if he did, the story became distorted by his followers to the degree that it never looked like the real man.

I have no problem with Jesus' teachings. I wish more "Christians" would follow them.

I have a huge problem with Jesus being used as an excuse for racism, homophobia, misogyny and most of the other ills of our modern society. But I kind of blame the Churches for letting the crazies dictate the conversation.

You know, if you actually read the Bible instead of having somebody tell you what they think it says, you could be credible. What actually happened is the Bible never promoted incest at all. Lot first offered to let his daughters be raped to protect the angels who came to visit him, something they prevented from happening, (God is not a fan of rape) then after the cities were destroyed and his wife was killed by trying to go back to them during the asteroid bombardment, he got drunk and his daughters raped him.

If you get things right you have a little more credibility.
