The Dems' reliance on PC/Identity Politics is the party's Third Rail. They could at least admit that they went too far. It didn't totally change the vote, but it sure as hell created enough resentment to count. Democrats ran on (under Obama) not starting new wars and ending the old ones. Prosecuting the bankers that caused the crash. Reforming immigration. Making the rich pay their fair share. Bringing down health care costs.......etc etc etc, the list is long.

They did none of that and worse than that they did the opposite. If they had done those things they would still be in power.

What we are seeing here after the last election are white Democrats talking like right-wing nutjobs. They're repeating right-wing talking points about what Democrats need to do. Bernie Sanders is one of them. Republicans have used identity politics since at least the Civil Rights Act. But for some reason when Republicans whine and pretend to be poor, innocent, and oppressed, the media repeats it and follow that false narrative. In this video we will see Berne Sanders repeating right wing talking points and he gets busted by Roland Martin. The claim that the Democratic Party has done nothing for the working class is a lie. Nobody went too woke. Its all a lie, and if any Democrat continues with this, they should get voted out. America needs to face its race problem and do so now. If Democrats want to continue losing, they will continue listening to Republicans telling them what they should do.

No Democrat has voiced why Democrats really lost. They spout things like "bad presentation", "didn't reach out to young men". But the real reason is their ideas are all garbage. Nobody wants what they're selling. It has nothing to do with presentation.
