This fund paid the pensions for warehouse workers, construction workers, truck drivers and food processors.

So why would blue collar white guys vote for a party that was consistently imposing polices that hurt them? Tax cut for the rich. Outsourcing American blue collar jobs, opposition to labor unions, I could keep going.
