I was 8 years old and looking through a 1953 Sears Catalog when we were in Alaska. I loved looking at the pictures of babies, baby beds, baby clothes, and all the pretty pastel colors. After looking at those pictures for several days, I told my mama I wanted to have a baby, because I thought they were real nice. She just laughed and said I was too young. "Why?" She explained I first had to have a husband. "why?" Because you just do. "Oh." I don't remember the rest of the conversation, but I knew in order to have a baby, first you had to like a boyfriend, and he had to ask you, you weren't allowed to ask him. and he had to be at least a year older than you because you just shouldn't like someone younger... So I just postponed my love for babies for years after that. Besides, in the 50s and 60s, kids weren't told of alternatives to confuse matters any. My mother probably found another place to put the Sears Catalog, because I never noticed it around the house again.

I don't know if they were born that away, or were they turned out by a male family member or neighbor. But it does says in the Bible. Same sex should not lie down together.
