I was all for DeSantis to run/win in 2024…I’ve changed my mind. I can’t wait for another four years of Trump. Anybody else with me on such a change?

You've definitely kept your legs working out. My first 20 working years, I was a framing carpenter. That's an 8 hour full body workout, everyday. Then I went to college and wound up with desk jobs afterwards. That was really bad for me physically.
And Biden walking to And from
Marine 1 is friggin embarrassing

Make sure that you still remember that when you get there.

I just helped my mid-80s parents into an assisted living center. Watching my Dad fall down in the hall wasn't easy. He's my rock.

I’ll remember it when they are hyping Biden / ? 24
No need to hype anything. Biden/Harris will run for another term because they are the incumbents. They can drop out for health, or any other reasons, but barring their dropping out, which isn't common for Presidential administrations, they're already on the ticket. If Trump is on there against them; there is a God.

Will never happen in a million years. Trump would never put anyone on his ticket that is not a boot licker.
I'm tellin' ya... that's the ticket.

Trump is going to get four more years and he wants his vp to get eight more... Cuz that will reflect well on him.

Trump/DeSantis is the only ticket that works.

Let's just say hypothetically DeSantis beats Trump in the Primary.

How many Trump voters sit it out?

Trump is going to be the nominee if he runs...or Republicans can likely kiss a 2024 presidency goodbye. Nobody wants that.

The leftist head explosions are just a bonus.

And I am telling you there is no way in hell that will ever happen. Trump will not let anyone close to him that is not a boot licker.

what do you want him to do about it? What is the role of the State Govt in this matter?

Florida has the 6th highest vacancy rate in the nation
The state can enact rent control for its OUT OF CONTROL rents , and retroactive back to 2020 rent levels, before Biden swamped us with illegal aliens, who saturated the housing rental market driving prices Waaaaaay up.

The first thing would be to rescind the state's ban on rent control, thereby allowing cities to make their own rent control laws.

Trump will run, and he will win (barring any major fraud dumps)

Yes, the state can, but they should not.

The state has the 6th most vacant houses in the nation, more than 1.7 million units sitting empty

In fairness you guys preach “free market”. So if Florida housing is in such high demand (so many moving there) why would the government step in to artificially influence the market value of rent???? Sounds…..socialist to me
No problem. The US has always been a blend of capitalism and socialism, with regulation imposed where/when it is NEEDED.

WHY should they not ?

Because we live in America and not Russia.

What's next after rent control, should they institute price controls? that would fix the inflation problem, just have the Govt force people to sell shit for less

We are talking about the housing crisis in Tampa and around Florida, with rents jumping from $600/mo to $1800/mo, and people being forced out of their homes where they have lived for 25 years , only be replaced by wealthy illegal aliens who have been in the country for 3 days. Are you getting this now ?

We are living in America, not Hong Kong. And we are talking about THAT, not what is "next".
