I want your opinion

I have to get rid of my vanity plate.

Goodbye '1Drunk'.

Though I am keeping the bumper sticker, "Out of my way, I am drunk."
The money saved could be spent on cabbie fare, perhaps?

But, I would bet you don't drive drunk too much, JW.

Tell what I cannot figure out.

Why veterans in Maine actually pay MORE for a plate that identifies then as veterans.

I mean I could understand that (perhaps) if the plates weren't more expensive.

That is for the insurance, the one in 10,000 who have flash backs and start ramming other vehicles thinking they are back at the Battle of the Bulge.

So, historically, whenever I've seen vanity plates on a car, a part of me always thinks how idiotic and what sort of egomaniac would get those.

I have no idea what changed, but now I'm seriously considering getting a vanity plate. I think maybe I just don't care if folks think I'm an idiot.

Anyway, what do you think? Should I get vanity plates?

If you'd enjoy having them - do it!

My most favorite ever vanity plate sighting was on an Austin Healey. It said "TATIOUS".
