Do you all see a lot of parallels between the French Revolution and todays leftist radicals of the Democratic party. ( not saying all Democrats are but the leadership is)
Bernie Sanders , Soros, Adam Schiff, AOC, Schumer all remind me of the radical Jacobins . An educated wealthy elites who want to completely destroy the country and transform it in this new false utopia.
The French Revolution was a radial elite movement of the nobility ( many were lawyers or journalist) who wanted to seize total power over France. They pretended to care about the working class but this was a true power grab. They wanted to abolish and wipe out the Church too. They would spread any slander or libel as possible to wipe out the enemies and enrage the poor peasant class to their own powerful ambitions. Just like the Dems , they accuse and slander anyone who gets in their way by accusing the GOP as being racist and only caring about the rich.
The old moderates in the Dem party have all been purge from the party with only the true Jacobins running everything. Bernie Sanders is just like Robespierre and want to transform America into a giant Police state ruled by the few
