I Thought Obamacare Was Going to Lower Costs?

So, the filibuster was done away with? When did that happen?

So you can’t get a healthcare alternative going even when you have all three branches of government. Got it.

I hope the American people realized that all you have to offer are excuses.

You’re actually right about one thing there X…Republicans are traditionally sworn in without a spine. Hell, if we just rammed our initiatives down the throats of Americans like your side does, you’d really be whimpering….

The GOP just rammed through a trillion dollars in cuts to Americans' health care on a party-line vote barely four months ago. They just don't talk about it anymore because it was very unpopular ("The big, beautiful bill has a big image issue").

Healthcare should be one of those things that isn't political. It is, of course, but it shouldn't be because it impacts us all.

If you have such a big problem with Obamacare, then get us something better, like you guys said you would. All you guys have are excuses.

"Average Obamacare premiums are set to rise 30 percent, documents show

The price increases — affecting up to 17 million Americans who buy coverage on the federal marketplace — are by far the largest annual premium increases in recent years.

Premiums for the most popular types of plans sold on the federal health insurance marketplace Healthcare.gov will spike on average by 30 percent next year, according to final rates approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and shown in documents reviewed by The Washington Post.

The price increases — affecting up to 17 million Americans who buy coverage on the federal marketplace — are by far the largest annual premium increases in recent years. The higher premiums, along with the likely expiration of pandemic-era subsidies, mean millions of people will see their health insurance payments double or even triple in 2026.
The premium spikes arrive during a protracted and bitter congressional battle over health insurance costs that prompted a government shutdown since Oct. 1. Democrats have urged an extension of enhanced subsidies for plans sold through the Affordable Care Act to soften the blow of rising insurance costs, while Republicans have said the additional assistance was never meant to be permanent.

The spike in premiums will become visible to more Americans on Monday when the Trump administration is expected to open Healthcare.gov for window shopping to browse the price of plans ahead of the Nov. 1 start to open enrollment. A spokesman for CMS did not immediately return a request for comment."

I thought Barack the Lightbringer was going to make healthcare affordable? All those Obama voters hitting their Hopium pipes better get a second job to pay for their healthcare.

Denzel put it best...

Only a fool or a democrat would have believed Obama's lies, 15 years ago, about this so -called "healthcare" being able to reduce costs.

Who would vote for Democrats except for fools?

You guys have control of all three branches of government, Trump gets a second term, and you STILL have nothing but excuses as to why you can’t get it done?

Come on now. That’s weak. It doesn’t get any better than this for a President.

Hard to move past the judicial resistance of the Democrats.

News flash: He lied.

When you hear the democrats snivel about "health care", this is what they're running cover for outside of the handouts to illegals....

Health insurance needs to go completely private. The market will produce affordable plans if the government keeps its nose out of it
Yeah government needs to stop subsidizing everything in so that the nation can use regulated capitalism as a means to deliver products and services to the American people by way of opening up the markets to fair and good competition. It's truly the only way it can work other than government taking it over completely. The government isn't adaptable to running program's that insure fairness and equality amongst all citizen's, and this without the burden being cast upon the working class in taxes who in return will end up paying for it all.

It's time to stop the dependency on government and restore this nation to a meritocracy. Charities can take care of the rest.

I wish MAGA controlled the judicial branch, but it is packed full of Democrat blood-sucking lice.

Come on now. It doesn't get much better than what you guys have now. The fact that you STILL can't deliver says a lot.

You're basically telling America that you guys are completely worthless unless you get every single possible thing to line up your way, which doesn't happen. And even then, I bet you guys would still come up with some stupid excuses.

You had your chance. You didn't deliver.

Once you start covering preexisting conditions it is no longer insurance. It become welfare.
Gotta disagree with you here.

Insurance companies should have a way of covering pre-existing conditions or the government should kick in to cover a citizen in this regard by subsidies aimed at not letting any citizen die from a pre-existing condition. Just because an insurance carrier refuses to take on the individual that has a pre-existing condition doesn't mean that something can't be done to make sure the citizen doesn't die from the condition. This seems like an area that can be worked out between the government and the insurance industry pertaining to such an issue.

I had a pre-condition when I was in my early twenties once, and it caused an insurance company to drop me because I didn't list it on the application right. The procedure to correct the condition cost the insurance company $900.00 dollars in total, but they dropped me anyway. I'm almost seventy now, so how much money do you think that the idiots lost because they said that I didn't list a condition on the form that later cost them $900.00 dollars way back then, otherwise if they still was my carrier over the year's where no further condition existed ? The company I worked for had already paid them well over that amount by the time that I had the corrective procedure done. So they were in the green.

Let's see, so if I would have been allowed to keep the insurance for the year's that I was employed there, that insurance company would have made thousands upon thousands of dollars as a result of retaining me as a client.

The stupidity is endless in this country.

I don't think we have the numbers to impeach all those blood-sucking Democrat judges.

Yes, yes. You guys are completely worthless unless you get every single thing to line up your way.

Republicans should be honest about that when they campaign:

“We’re not going to do shit about healthcare unless we get every single Democrat out of office. And even then, we still probably won’t. Vote for us!”

“We’re not actually going to fix the healthcare system. What we will do is provide excuses and complain about Democrats. Vote for us!”

Other Presidents have done far more with far less. All you guys have are excuses.
