There are graphs of Obamacare from a decade ago to today. The taxpayers is on the hook for most of it. The added payoffs for temporary Covid legislation have lowered the monthly premiums massively. Progs do not want the Covid payoffs to end. And illegals have no right to medical care also.

What they did is allow Pedo Peter's additional subsidy (which wouldn't even be necessary if the "cost curve" was truly lower) expire and return to 2020 levels.

It did create a downward force on prices, as evidenced by prices rising more slowly after the ACA.

Now that the fat rapist charity thief is kicking people off of it, the risk pool will shrink. This causes the premiums to rise.

Obamacare isn't a "medical insurance provider," it's a marketplace where insurers sell products.



That was a GOP amendment.

My post still stands if it's supposedly a market place that has participating providers that will agree to cover lower end Americans for the government subsidies that will be coming their way, otherwise if they offer their services at a level the government will accept in order to subsidize them. Is this correct ? So why does congress need to search for insurance on the ACA portal ????
