I buy food at Fred Meyer. However I looked up 12 eggs at both FM and Walmart. Walmart is a dollar cheaper. It looks like My shopping will change to Walmart. PS other food at Walmart is also cheaper. Meat is lower at Fred Meyer. Fred Meyer is part of Kroger for those wondering.

The only thing the CDC link mentioned was the transmission of bird flu in people. There is no mention of eradicating bird flue in the chicken population or what it might do for the price of eggs.

Nothing has been posted to the US Department of agriculture’s website in regards to avian flu since March 20 of this year.
