In 1985, I supported Evil because I was a rebellious teenager. Also Evil seemed cooler and closer to popular hard rock music of the time.

In 2022, I still support Evil. Hear me out. About 45% of people support Evil, just like myself. Another 45% of people support SuperEvil -- which is much more evil then Evil. Sometimes the balance of power between Evil and SuperEvil comes to 0.2% of voters. A few people support Good, but a vote for Good is a vote which supports SuperEvil.

Of course both Evil and SuperEvil call themselves Good. Evil barely tolerates those who do not support Evil. SuperEvil cancels and persecutes those who do not support SuperEvil. But I will point out evil ways of both sides, while supporting Evil -- only as the better alternative to SuperEvil.

"The perfect is the enemy of the good" is a more optimistic way to put it.

I put it another way. You don't vote to feel good, you vote to do good. If that requires compromising your sacred moral principles, you do it. Preventing real people from suffering is more important than maintaining a feeling of moral purity.

Evil definitely dresses better ...

Even though we have enormous disagreements, here I agree 100%.

I don't understand the thinking of a self proclaimed Man of Ethics.

My opinion is that....we are where we are in this country at this time because we all helped to put us here. We ignored evil, we helped evil willingly by our silence and often by our participation. oh it didn't seem all that evil at the time did it? no. It was just a matter of enjoying ourselves. Besides...isn't it more morally superior to be tolerant...tolerant even of evil?

Are you saying that it is moral to stop the suffering of humans by putting them out of their misery than to follow your morals of first causing no harm...or perhaps your morals on not killing?

No. I am 100% against assisted suicide. Suicide is a crime no less then murder.
