They areNah..they're just better cars and trucks.
But only slightly better and not worth the premium that both companies are trying to extract by purposefully limiting supply

I got a lot of extra features
I will be sticking with only Korean in the future
My dad has a G70 Genesis
Was I smart to spend another $1,800 on having free service maintenance for 96,000 miles ??

I’m interested in the Honda PilotToyota rarely runs commercials on their vehicles.
Lately they have been because the car and truck industry is pretty slow these days.
I’m interested in the Honda Pilot
But its overpriced right now
So are Toyota’s because both companies are limiting supply
This way the manufacturer makes more profit over the short run but in time they will lose market share that could catch up to them later
No, the chip shortage is overIt's getting difficult to get a lot of the needed electrical components which of course leads to delays in manufacturing.
No, the chip shortage is over
Other brands are ramping up production
I agree with you that the small turbocharged engines are not as good as a non turbo v8From what I'm reading the chip shortage is still ongoing but it's worse for some auto manufacturers than others.
I couldnt however find out which automakers are still having issues.
It's crazy,I get at least one or two emails from my local Toyota dealer to sell them my 2016 Tundra TRD 4x4.
And while their offers aren't terrible I could get much more by selling it myself. It only has around 12K miles on it at this point when it should have around 80K based on the average miles per year most vehicles get in that time frame. And to be honest I dont want one of the new ones with their small engines and turbos. Just more shit to go wrong.
And at this rate I dont see me needing a new truck anytime soon if at all.

Of course, not long after I posted this, I'm having problems. There is paint peeling off my car, and after looking into it a little, it's apparently a long-standing issue. Certain years/models had their paint warranties extended because of it, although mine is not one of those. I've also read about class action lawsuits being filed against Hyundai for the paint issue, as well as Honda having had to pay millions in a similar lawsuit some years back. So I guess I should take comfort that it's not just Hyundai that uses crap paint?I have a Hyundai Elantra. Had it for a few years now. I haven’t had any problems as of yet. They come with what seems to be good warranties. I usually get 40+ mpg, but it’s not a powerful engine![]()
I do, somewhat. So happens though, my bro-in-law is a mechanic and SWEARS by Hyundai engines. He says they are the most bang for the buck out of any foreign car in terms of reliability and capability. But yeah, I know Kia and Hyundai are almost neck-and-neck.Look at KIA too !! There cars are so slick and cool.
KIA K5

Korean "lots of things" are very good! Electronics. Firearms. Tools & equipment. I use steel Korean magazines for my AK-47. They are great. I really think we should be using Korea to put China OUT of the loop. We should even be making amicable deals with NORTH Korea if they agree to our terms, JUST to put China OUT. China has really become a 500 lb gorilla and really needs to be put in a cage by any means necessary. Even though North Korea misbehaves by World standards, they are manageable compared to China. If we could get them to work for us, to actually replace some of the imports from China, I think that would be great. The Korean cars are superb and as good as Japanese cars !!
Plus you get far more VALUE at lower prices
I am sure Lexus is the best of them all

Is that right?! Thanks for the info. They're both owned by Hyundai Motor Vehicles, so I would think the engines would be the same, at least some of the time.
