Should they have access to cars to run people over. Changing the subject to gun is an attempt to avoid the real cause. Yeah, the real problem here is that you have two political parties with a divide. The rich control these two parties and know that spending loads of money on HATE is how you get votes. Both parties are doing it, but I'd say the Republicans spend more and are better at it.
Proportional Representation would change that. Parties would have to be positive, and oversight from voters would be much stronger and much quicker.
But nobody wants to talk about Proportional Representation.
