I Need Help Solving This Math Problem

I totally agree and I can sort of see where 11 is coming from now because I'm currently talking to another math whiz.
Does he know his gazintas and naughts? :D

Okay so I still say that the answer is 5 after looking at it more clearly because if we're doing:

3x3÷3-3+3

From left to right the addition comes first before the subtraction.

Exactly and going from left to right we have to skip subtraction because it doesn't come before addition.
Addition and subtraction really dont matter. Its in the article.

Multiply. Division comes first. UNLESS YOU HAVE ()

I do believe that we're supposed to use PEMDAS here but I'm not sure how to get the final answer. It's:

3x3-3÷3+3

Now according to PEMDAS you would multiply 3x3 and get nine and three divided by three is one, three plus three equals six and finally three minus three is zero but is that what we're even supposed to do here because I don't know how to get the final answer. 🤔

Okay so I still say that the answer is 5 after looking at it more clearly because if we're doing:

3x3÷3-3+3

From left to right the addition comes first before the subtraction.
Now you changed the original problem.
Addition Doesn't come before Subtraction, they are EQUAL, you do whichever one (Addition or Subtraction) come first.

It's sort of funny how I started this topic a couple days ago and I still got two people in real life screaming in my ear as one is saying it's five and the other 11.
