Got my Census ID code in the mail today.

In the past, with paper responses, I've only filled out the # of people in this home and ignored the rest as none of their business. I've never been fined or jailed for failure to comply with answering all the questions on the decennial census, nor anything in-between the decades.

With it now being an on-line form, I suspect the form will force you to answer all questions in order to complete the form to their liking.

Perhaps I'll not respond and just deal with the census worker schmuck they'll send to the door.

Results form the 2020 Census will be used to:

• Direct billions of dollars in federal funds to local communities for schools, roads, and other public services. (X)
• Help your community prepare to meet transportation and emergency readiness needs. (X)
• Determine the number of seats each state has in the U.S. House of Representative and your political representation at all levels of government. (the only valid reason for the census)
